2008 ARRC Turkey
Thanksgiving Day, Thursday 11/27/08,
8:00 A.M.
Shadyside Park Recreation Area,
Anderson IN
We had a great turnout, over 60 runners. Some snowbirds and
students were back in town for the Holiday. The morning was clear but
brisk, about 25 degrees. I neglected to get the names of the overall
winners of the turkeys. I'll work on that.
Thank you Sherry Robertson for the Muffins. They went great with the
hot chocolate for the post race recovery.

ARRC Christmas Dinner

Thank you WrayJean and Gene for the home
cooked ham and sweet potatoes. I tasted quite a bit of the food
and it was all great.
Congratulations to the door prize winners. The prizes include
two Indiana state park annual passes, various shirts and gloves. |

The Walkers and Runners were greeted with sunshine and warm weather to
conclude the 2008 Point Series on 9/25. Several runners set PR's for the
year.
