• 2008 ARRC Road Series
  The first race in the 2008 Series is the Indy Mini-Marathon on May 3rd, 2008.
  The club will have a tent in the finish area for all members and friends (Indy_Mini_Club_Village.pdf).
  Points will only be awarded for the half-marathon race participants. Contact Greg Smith to find out about volunteer points.
  
  The second race is the White River Run on May 17th in Anderson, IN.

  2007 Road Series rules.
  
• 2008 ARRC Thursday Point Series
  The 2008 Preseason races run from 4/3 to 4/24, 6:00 P.M. Shadyside recreation area. Walkers start at 5:30 P.M.
  The preseason races have completed. There is no race scheduled for 5/1. I expect some runners will be there anyway.
  
  The First Points Races will be Thursday 5/8, bring your membership form and money. The series will end on 9/25 with no race on 7/3.
  The Post Season will run from 10/2 - 10/23.
  
  For anyone interested in setting a new club 1-lap record, here are the times to beat. Two records were broken last year and a new age group was added for 75-79.

• 2008 ARRC Fun Run Series
  The 2008 Fun Run Series will be held on Tuesdays this year. The first run will be on June 3rd. This change was made to allow the kids to complete some of their other activities before starting the fun runs. The races will start at 6:00 P.M.
  
• Local Runners have success at the Midsouth Marathon in Wynne AK.
